Deer Valley Secures Major Funding for Luxury Resort Expansion
Deer Valley, Utah, is set to welcome a significant addition to its ski resort landscape. Extell Development Company has obtained a $600 million construction loan for the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Deer Valley. This project is part of the Deer Valley East Village development, which represents the first new luxury alpine village in North America in more than four decades. The loan, provided by JVP Management, is reportedly the largest for a hotel and residential condominium construction project in Utah's history.

Construction of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Deer Valley began in spring 2023, with completion expected in 2028. The project has already seen substantial interest, with nearly 40% of the overall inventory sold. The resort will feature one- to six-bedroom homes ranging from 1,200 to 7,000 square feet, all offering direct ski-in ski-out access. The development includes 55 residences above the hotel, which are 60% sold, and an adjacent building with 68 private residences.
The resort will offer a range of amenities, including wellness and fitness facilities, multiple dining venues, and spaces for events and gatherings. Designed for year-round use, the property will provide access to hiking and biking trails, an ice rink, and both indoor and outdoor pools.
