Tomorrowland Winter is returning to Alpe d'Huez in March 2027 for its seventh edition.

The dates are confirmed: March 20 to 27, 2027. The French Alps resort will once again host the festival that has built a reputation as one of the more distinctive events on the ski calendar - a full week combining skiing and snowboarding during the day with electronic music performances across village and mountain stages at night.

Alpe d'Huez sits above 2,000 metres in the French Alps and gives the event a high-altitude setting that has become part of its identity. The ski area is one of the larger French resorts with reliable late-season snow cover in March, and the combination of on-piste days and festival nights has proven a workable format through six previous editions.

    How the festival works

The concept has been consistent since the first edition: days are spent on the mountain skiing and snowboarding within the Alpe d'Huez ski area, while evenings shift to performances by international DJs on stages spread across both the village and the mountain itself. Previous editions have included performances at elevated locations within the ski resort, with stages positioned to look out over the snow-covered Alps, as well as surprise sets in locations around the village.

The 2026 edition drew a strong lineup that included Charlotte de Witte, Steve Aoki, Axwell, Steve Angello, Lost Frequencies, Dimitri Vegas, Miss Monique, Ofenbach, Agoria, and Malaa.

    What's confirmed for 2027

The lineup for 2027 has not yet been announced. The organisers have confirmed the dates and opened pre-registration for tickets and accommodation packages, with further details on artists, ticket sales, and packages to follow later in the year.

For Alpe d'Huez, Tomorrowland Winter has become one of the most significant weeks on the annual calendar. Hotels, restaurants, rental shops, and local businesses see a substantial influx of visitors during the festival week, and a portion of the local community is directly involved in the event's organisation each year.

Pre-registration for Tomorrowland Winter 2027 is open now via the Tomorrowland website.
