    Loon Mountain Resort Lift System

    Loon's advanced lift network includes the Kancamagus 8, New England's first eight-person chairlift, whisking skiers to the summit in just over four minutes. The resort features 11 lifts total, including three high-speed quads, strategically positioned to minimize wait times and maximize your time on the slopes. This efficient system serves 61 trails and multiple terrain parks, providing quick access to all three mountain peaks.

Its position along the Kancamagus Highway provides easy access for day trips and extended stays, with Interstate 93 nearby.

    Winter transforms Loon into a snow-covered playground, typically operating from mid-November through mid-April. The resort's sophisticated snowmaking system covers 99% of terrain, ensuring reliable conditions throughout the season. Beyond winter, Loon comes alive with summer and fall activities, including downhill mountain biking, scenic gondola rides, and aerial forest adventures, making it a year-round destination for mountain recreation.
