    Standing proudly at 7,000 feet, Mt Timberline Lodge combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Our family-owned resort features 45 diverse trails across 2,500 acres of skiable terrain, making it perfect for every skill level. The historic main lodge, built in 1962, offers slope-side accommodations with panoramic mountain views and authentic Alpine architecture.

    Timberline Lodge Lift System

    Mt Timberline's network of 12 lifts, including two high-speed quads and our signature Summit Express gondola, ensures minimal wait times and maximum mountain access. Our lift system can transport 8,000 skiers per hour, serving everything from gentle learning slopes to challenging black diamond runs. Each lift is strategically positioned to help you explore different aspects of the mountain.

    Location & Getting There

    Just 75 miles from Denver International Airport, Mt Timberline Lodge offers straightforward mountain access without the crowds. The resort is connected to the historic mining town of Silver Creek, where visitors can explore local restaurants, shops, and après-ski venues. Free shuttle service runs every 15 minutes between the resort and town, making it easy to enjoy both mountain adventure and local culture.

    Season Info

    Experience exceptional skiing from mid-November through late April, with an average annual snowfall of 300 inches. Our north-facing slopes preserve pristine conditions throughout the season, while our advanced snowmaking system supplements natural snow on 60% of trails. Peak season brings perfect powder days in January and February, while spring offers sunny slopes and stellar conditions.
