    Cascade Mountain Lift System

    Getting you to the top quickly and safely is our priority. Cascade Mountain's network of 11 lifts, including four high-speed quads, can transport over 15,000 skiers per hour. Our modern lift system minimizes wait times, maximizing your time on the slopes. From the beginner area's magic carpet to our express chairlifts serving advanced terrain, we've designed our lift network to enhance your mountain experience.

    Just 20 minutes north of Madison and under an hour from Milwaukee, Cascade Mountain combines convenience with adventure. Our central Wisconsin location makes us an ideal destination for day trips and weekend getaways alike. Easy access from I-90/94 means less travel time and more slope time, while nearby Portage offers plenty of lodging and dining options for extended stays.

    Season Info

    Winter comes alive at Cascade Mountain from early December through late March. Our advanced snowmaking system covers 100% of our terrain, ensuring reliable conditions throughout the season. Whether you're carving through fresh morning corduroy or enjoying a sunny spring afternoon, each part of the season offers its own unique charm and skiing conditions.
