Ischgl's winter season typically runs from late November through early May, offering one of the longest seasons in the Alps. The resort's high-altitude position, with 90% of slopes above 2,000 meters, ensures excellent snow reliability throughout the winter. Natural snowfall is complemented by extensive snowmaking covering 1,100 snow cannons across the entire ski area, guaranteeing optimal conditions even in challenging weather. The north-facing aspects maintain snow quality well into spring.
