Winter Park Opening October 31

Now this is a Halloween treat we can certainly get around, we are unsure if this is a trick or a treat but we will take an early opening any day of the season. Thanks to some early season snowfall and an incredible effort from the grooming team Winter Park Resort announced they are opening Early and this is their earliest opening on record. If you are heading out to the resort make sure you get in the holiday spirit and wear your best Halloween outfit.

Credit: Winter Park Facebook The chairlifts will start spinning from 9am on Monday the 31st of October with a small front section of the resort open. The Arrow triple, Gemini Express quad and Spirit T-Bar will be open to all riders + there will even be a small terrain park opening. Whilst this isn’t the largest footprint its a great start and is enough to give anyone their snow fix they will need and we know that it always starts small but once those temps drop during the month of November we will see Winter Park opening up more and more of the resort. We would expect that majority of the resort to be operational mid December as they need a few more storms to roll through.
