Jay Peak Now Officially Owned By Pacific Group Resorts

Michael Fulton (SnowStash)
This morning we have seen that the final acquisition of Jay Peak by Pacific Group Resorts is now complete. The group who are based in Utah made a wining bid of $76m USD for the resort back in September and Jay Peak will join their existing portfolio of Powderhorn in Colorado, Ragged Mountain in New Hampshire, Mount Washington in British Columbia, Wintergreen in Virginia and WISP Resort in Maryland. There is no announcement just yet on reciprocal benefits across all of their resorts but that might be dropped just before the start of the winter ski season. Jay Peak Web Cam | Summit Cam

Elevation: 2,014ft (614m) More Jay Peak Cams Jay Peak has had quite a turbulent last few years so we are happy to see the resort under new stable ownership which will allow them to focus on what really matters, offering up great powder skiing in northern Vermont.
