Snowshoe Resort in West Virginia is getting a new chairlift next season which is pretty exciting news for the biggest resort in the state. They will be replacing the Powder Monkey triple chair with a new fixed grip quad chair. The existing Powder Monkey triple chair services mostly beginner and intermediate runs but provides access to some advanced terrain and several terrain parks. The current Powder Monkey lift is a triple (3-seater), that was installed in 1977. This will be the first new chairlift on the mountain since the Soaring Eagle Express lift was installed in 2006.
