As the days get longer and the weather warms, the season is starting to wind down, though it may not feel like it with the incredible conditions Heavenly has had. After opening a full week early in November, the resort recently announced that they be extending the season by an additional three weeks of skiing and riding until May 7th. However, starting this Monday, April 3rd, the resort will begin ramping down operations and decreasing lifts and terrain, which is typical for our spring approach. This is mainly because the staff members start to head off to their summer jobs and there are more options for people's time, such as biking, baseball, and traveling. Nevertheless, there will still be plenty of terrain until the end, and the resort will adjust the footprint slightly each week based on staffing and conditions.

In Nevada, Heavenly will operate Stagecoach, Dipper, and Mott Canyon, while out of Heavenly Village, the resort will operate the Gondola, Tamarack, Big Easy, and Tubing. Heavenly will be running a shuttle between Boulder and Stagecoach parking lots, and ski and ride (access only) will be available back to Boulder. The resort will likely adjust lifts and terrain based on conditions week by week, so please make sure to check our website for the latest information.
