Holiday Valley Resort is a renowned winter sports destination situated in the western region of New York State. It boasts 60 slopes and trails, 13 lifts, and three base lodges. The resort has won numerous awards for its exceptional skiing and snowboarding facilities, family-friendly atmosphere, and top-notch service. It is no surprise that the future of the resort looks bright, considering the management's dedication to continually improve its offerings and services. In the recent video, Dennis Eshbaugh, the resort's President & General Manager, discussed the 2022-23 ski season's performance and shared the resort's upcoming plans. Despite a lower snowfall than other years, Holiday Valley was still able to provide skiers and snowboarders with an enjoyable experience, thanks to its state-of-the-art snowmaking system. The system ensures that the slopes remain covered with fresh snow throughout the winter season, regardless of the weather conditions. The most significant project planned for the offseason is the replacement of the Mardi Gras Express, a high-speed quad that has been operating since 1996. The new lift, a detachable high-speed six-pack chairlift from Doppelmayr, will increase the resort's capacity and provide guests with a more comfortable and faster ride to the summit. The construction work for the new chairlift started last year and is scheduled to be completed before the Ellicottville and Holiday Valley Fall Festival. The festival is a popular event that draws visitors from all over the region and offers a wide range of activities, including live music, food, and games.

Moreover, the resort hosts several summer events such as the Happy Half Marathon, the Holiday Valley Mudslide, and the Ellicottville Fall Festival. These events attract tourists from all over and provide a boost to the local economy.Holiday Valley Resort's future is promising, given the management's dedication to providing exceptional service, improving its facilities, and offering a wide range of activities for guests to enjoy.
