Snowbasin Resort is investing significantly in enhancing its guest experience ahead of the 2023-24 season. These improvements include the construction of a new high-speed chairlift, expanded parking, a new patio with additional dining options, and additional restrooms. These projects aim to elevate the world-renowned mountain destination's accessibility and on-mountain experience for visitors. The resort's General Manager, Davy Ratchford, expressed pride in the commitment to preserving and improving this historic mountain playground. The new lift alone marks the third lift upgrade in four years, making it the resort's most significant investment since its transformation for the 1999 Olympics.The resort is increasing its parking capacity with 124 additional parking stalls, solidifying its position as the resort with the most parking in Utah. Shuttle services will be available from these lots to the slopes, improving accessibility. A new patio on the Strawberry side of the resort, accompanying the DeMoisy Express, will offer guests more dining options and seating. The addition of the DeMoisy Express, a six-chair high-speed lift, will double the uphill capacity on the Strawberry side and is set to be completed in December 2023, increasing the total number of lifts to 13.Snowbasin's commitment to enhancing the guest experience extends to the construction of additional restrooms at the Grizzly Center, further improving accessibility year-round. These projects reflect Snowbasin's dedication to providing a world-class experience for all who choose to visit.
