Aman Rosa Alpina Brings Luxury to the Dolomites

The historic Rosa Alpina hotel in San Cassiano, Italy, is set to reopen as an Aman resort on 24 July 2025. Located in the UNESCO-protected Dolomites, the property has undergone extensive renovations to align with Aman's reputation for luxury and cultural sensitivity. The refurbishment, led by architect Jean-Michel Gathy, aims to preserve the hotel's alpine character while introducing modern amenities and design elements.

The renovated Aman Rosa Alpina features completely remodelled rooms and suites, including two new 150-square-metre Aman Suites and a reconfigured 280-square-metre Chalet Zeno. The property will introduce new dining options, such as an Italian grill, an all-day lounge, and a dedicated breakfast room. A new Aman Spa has been added, offering three swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, and treatments inspired by the Dolomites' natural healing properties.

Additional amenities include games rooms for different age groups, three private cinemas, and a Ski Lounge with heated boot racks and equipment rental. These additions aim to enhance the guest experience and provide seamless transitions between indoor comfort and outdoor adventures.

Aman Rosa Alpina serves as a gateway to the Dolomites' year-round activities. In winter, guests have access to over 1,200 kilometres of ski slopes. During warmer months, the area offers hiking, biking, and climbing opportunities. The Pizzinini family, who have owned the property for three generations, will continue to manage the resort, ensuring that it maintains its authentic connection to the region.

The ski resort's location in the Dolomites provides a unique setting for luxury accommodation. With its proximity to extensive ski terrain and year-round outdoor activities, Aman Rosa Alpina is positioned to become a premier destination for skiers and riders seeking a high-end mountain experience. The resort's combination of world-class amenities, cultural sensitivity, and access to natural beauty aims to attract discerning travellers looking for both luxury and adventure in the Italian Alps.
