Thredbo Kicks Off Ski Season with Friday Flat Opening

Thredbo Resort in Australia has confirmed that it will commence its ski season for the King's Birthday Long Weekend. The resort announced on Wednesday, 4 June, that Friday Flat will be operational for skiers and riders starting Saturday, 7 June. This early-season opening is a result of favourable conditions and the hard work of the resort's snowmaking team.

Visitors to Thredbo can look forward to using the Easy Does It Chairlift and Magic Carpets, as well as a hike park. The resort's mountain operations team is working to open additional terrain as conditions permit, with a forecast of over 50cm of fresh snow on the horizon.
