Resort Overview
Spanning across four valleys in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, Abetone delivers 50 kilometres of varied ski terrain at elevations between 1,240 and 1,950 metres. Established in the 1930s and steeped in Italian skiing history, the resort has produced multiple Olympic champions including Zeno Colò and Celina Seghi. Modern investments have enhanced the area with expanded snowmaking capacity, night skiing opportunities, and improved on-mountain facilities. Abetone's diverse terrain features wide-open upper slopes and tree-lined runs that wind through ancient pine and beech forests, making it particularly appealing to intermediate skiers.

Abetone Lift System
Abetone's lift system consists of 22 carefully positioned lifts that efficiently connect the resort's four principal valleys: Val di Luce, Valle dello Scoltenna, Valle del Lima, and Ovovia. The infrastructure includes six quad chairlifts, several two-seater lifts, and strategically placed surface lifts serving beginner zones. The Valbona-Regine gondola stands as the network's centrepiece, rising from the main village to provide rapid mountain access. Throughout the system, scenic viewpoints offer stunning perspectives of the Apennine range and, on clear days, the Mediterranean Sea to the west.
