Pila Opens Stella del Couis Summit Station and Complete Gondola System

Italian ski resort Pila has completed its ambitious Pila-Couis gondola project, opening the architecturally striking Stella del Couis summit station on 14 December. The new 10-seater gondola system now connects the Roman city of Aosta to an alpine summit at 2,723 metres in just 30 minutes, transforming both the skiing experience and year-round mountain tourism in the Aosta Valley.
