    Lake Louise Lift System

    Lake Louise's comprehensive network of 10 lifts serves 145 marked runs plus back bowls. The Summit Platter opens up access to some of the most challenging terrain, while the Glacier Express quad chair provides rapid access to intermediate paradise. Recent upgrades include the high-speed Juniper Express quad, significantly improving access to beginner and intermediate terrain on the front side.

    Set within Alberta's Canadian Rockies, Lake Louise Ski Resort is easily accessible - just a 40-minute drive from the town of Banff and two hours from Calgary International Airport. The resort's proximity to the hamlet of Lake Louise offers convenient lodging options, from luxury chalets to comfortable hotels. The surrounding Banff National Park provides year-round activities beyond skiing, making it an ideal base for exploring the Canadian Rockies.

    With one of the longest seasons in North America, Lake Louise typically operates from early November through mid-May. The resort's high elevation and sophisticated snowmaking system ensure reliable conditions throughout the winter. Spring brings legendary corn snow and sunshine, while mid-winter delivers consistent powder conditions, especially in the back bowls. The resort averages 454 centimeters (179 inches) of natural snowfall annually.
