    Mount Cain Lift System

    Mount Cain's efficient lift network includes two T-bars and a handle tow, serving 1,499 feet of vertical terrain. The straightforward system provides access to 21 marked runs and extensive backcountry opportunities. Our lifts transport you to pristine alpine bowls and gladed runs, with rarely any lineup wait times, ensuring more time on the slopes.

    Location & Getting There

    Positioned on northern Vancouver Island, Mount Cain sits at 5,850 feet in elevation, about an hour's drive from the communities of Port McNeill and Port Hardy. The resort's unique location, away from major urban centers, helps preserve its uncrowded slopes and community atmosphere.     The winter season at Mount Cain typically runs from December through March, with peak conditions in January and February. Weekend and holiday operations mean untouched powder greets visitors after each snowfall.
