    Geißkopf Lift System

    The lift system at Geißkopf features 6 installations efficiently serving the entire ski area. The network includes comfortable chairlifts and surface lifts strategically positioned to minimize waiting times. With a vertical drop of 300m, the lifts provide access to diverse terrain across multiple faces of the mountain. The main chairlift transports visitors smoothly to 1,097m, offering spectacular panoramic views across the Bavarian Forest National Park and, on clear days, to the distant Czech mountains.

    Located near Bischofsmais in eastern Bavaria, Geißkopf sits approximately 160km from Munich and 60km from Passau. The resort enjoys a spectacular position within the Bavarian Forest, surrounded by pristine woodland and traditional villages. This location offers visitors the opportunity to experience the unique culture of eastern Bavaria while enjoying quality winter sports. The surrounding Bavarian Forest National Park provides additional winter activities including extensive cross-country skiing, winter hiking, and wildlife observation in one of Germany's most impressive wilderness areas.
