The ski season in Utah has been on for the history books and no one is feeling this more than Deer Valley. Deer Valley has been in existence for 41 years and they have just surpassed their all time snowfall record. Last week Deer Valley announced they had surpassed their previous record of 484” which was set in the 16/17 winter season. Taking a look at their snow report at the time of writing the resort has recorded 503” (12.7m) of the Greatest Snow on Earth which has lead to some incredible days for the skiers at the resort. To celebrate this record-breaking winter season, Deer Valley has announced they will be moving their closing date out to the 23rd of April 2023. The lifts on Bald Eagle and Bald Mountain will continue to spin through to their new closing date. Deer Valley was also able to open up earlier than planned thanks to early season snowfalls.
