    Three chairlifts serve Montana Snowbowl's 950 acres of skiable terrain. The LaVelle Creek Triple Chair carries skiers to the summit at 7,600 feet, accessing advanced terrain and panoramic views. The Snow Park Double services beginner and intermediate runs, while the Grizzly Chair opens up additional expert territory. This efficient lift network minimizes wait times and maximizes your time on the slopes.

    Located just 12 miles north of Missoula, Montana Snowbowl combines easy access with a true mountain atmosphere. The resort sits within the Lolo National Forest, surrounded by pristine wilderness and wildlife habitat. This proximity to Missoula means you can ski world-class terrain by day and enjoy the city's vibrant culture, dining, and accommodation options by night.

    Season Info

    Montana Snowbowl typically operates from early December through early April, with peak conditions from January through March. The mountain receives an average of 300 inches of annual snowfall, with the north-facing slopes maintaining excellent snow quality throughout the season. Winter temperatures range from the teens to low 30s Fahrenheit, creating ideal conditions for both powder days and spring skiing.
