    Black Mountain Lift System

    Black Mountain's thoughtfully designed lift network ensures maximum time on the slopes. Two triple chairs, one double chair, and a surface lift provide efficient access to all terrain. The main triple chair whisks you to the 1,100-foot summit in just 7 minutes, while the learning area's dedicated surface lift creates an ideal environment for newcomers.

    Located in Jackson, New Hampshire, Black Mountain is just 2.5 hours from Boston and minutes from the charming Mount Washington Valley. The resort's proximity to the Presidential Range provides stunning alpine vistas and easy access to the region's rich variety of dining, lodging, and après-ski options. Free parking steps from the lodge makes getting on the snow quick and convenient.

    Season Info

    Winter transforms Black Mountain into a snow-covered playground from mid-December through late March. The mountain's northeastern exposure and advanced snowmaking system maintain excellent conditions throughout the season. Early winter brings pristine powder days, while spring offers classic New England corn snow and longer, sun-soaked skiing hours.
