    Pajarito Mountain Lift System

    Five lifts serve Pajarito Mountain's diverse terrain, providing swift access to everything from gentle learning slopes to demanding expert runs. The Mother Lift and Townsight Lift carry skiers to panoramic views of the Rio Grande Valley, while our beginner-friendly lifts ensure newcomers can progress at their own pace. Our lift system maintains short wait times, letting you maximize your time on the slopes.

    Location & Getting There

    Located just minutes from Los Alamos National Laboratory, Pajarito Mountain provides an accessible mountain escape in northern New Mexico. The resort sits approximately 45 minutes from Santa Fe and two hours from Albuquerque, making it an ideal destination for both day trips and extended stays. Our unique position in the Jemez Mountains offers spectacular views of the surrounding Valles Caldera National Preserve and the Rio Grande Valley below.

    Season Info

    Winter transforms Pajarito Mountain from late November through March, with an average annual snowfall of 125 inches blanketing our slopes. The mountain's elevation of 10,440 feet helps preserve excellent snow conditions throughout the season. During summer months, the mountain welcomes hikers and mountain bikers, offering verdant trails and cooling mountain breezes as an escape from the New Mexico heat.
