Hurricane Ridge Lift System
Hurricane Ridge operates three rope tows that serve its varied terrain. The Intermediate Rope Tow accesses wide-open bowls and gentle slopes perfect for building confidence. The Advanced Rope Tow leads to steeper pitches and challenging terrain for experienced skiers. Our beginner area features a dedicated learning rope tow, creating an ideal environment for first-time skiers and snowboarders.

Location & Getting There
Hurricane Ridge is reached via a scenic 17-mile drive from Port Angeles, climbing through the heart of Olympic National Park. This unique location, just two hours from Seattle including a ferry ride, offers visitors the rare opportunity to ski within a national park. The road to Hurricane Ridge is maintained throughout winter, though carrying chains is required. From the summit, skiers enjoy panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains, Vancouver Island, and the Pacific Ocean.
