    Location & Getting There

Mt. Baker Ski Area sits 56 miles east of Bellingham and about three hours from Seattle, accessed via the scenic Mount Baker Highway. Though the final approach includes a winding mountain road, the journey rewards visitors with dramatic views of the North Cascades. Operating on National Forest land, the ski area provides access to some of the most photographed mountain scenery in North America, with the glaciated Mount Baker and the dramatic spires of Mount Shuksan creating an awe-inspiring backdrop.

    Season Info

Operating from mid-November through April, Mt. Baker consistently receives the deepest snowpack in North America, averaging 663 inches annually. The mountain's position in the North Cascades captures massive Pacific storms, delivering legendary powder days throughout the season.
