    Location & Getting There

Located just 78 miles east of Seattle along Highway 2, Stevens Pass combines remarkable accessibility with authentic mountain atmosphere. The resort serves as a vital connection between western and eastern Washington, offering dramatically different weather and terrain on each side of the pass. This strategic position allows skiers to chase optimal conditions by moving between the front and back sides of the mountain as weather patterns shift. The surrounding Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides a stunning backdrop of pristine wilderness and offers extensive backcountry opportunities.

    Season Info

Stevens Pass typically operates from late November through mid-April, characterized by consistent snowfall patterns typical of the Cascade Mountains. The resort's location at the convergence of maritime and continental weather systems creates unique snow conditions, often delivering light, dry powder during cold snaps and the classic maritime snow that the Pacific Northwest is known for. Mid-winter brings reliable deep snow conditions, while spring offers a mix of powder days and sun breaks, perfect for exploring the entire mountain.
