One of the coolest things we have seen come out of the ski industry as of late is the strive to create the coolest content for platforms like YouTube. Whilst we will never tire of watching Travis Rice slide down a spine in Alaska we are loving the effort amazing riders and content creators are putting into parts like this. Jesper Tjäder was the perfect choice of rider when it comes to thinking of how to make a Japanese inspired gameshow as he might be one of the most technical rail riders of this generation.Check out the video below to see what happens when you mix a great skier, a small icy tunnel, a winch pulley system and a bunch of unique holes and cut outs including rails on either side. And like every japanese game show there is an eccentric host and wacky and fun music to keep the good time vibes strong throughout.Who is Jepser Tjäder you might ask? Jesper Tjäder is a freeski star from Sweden. He started to ski when he was around four years old, and since that day has been pushing himself to learn all sorts of new tricks on skis. "I always try to push the sport and come up with tricks that no one have ever done before, or maybe only a few have done," says Tjäder. "Then I also try to push film and competition skiing with all these new and crazy tricks." Some impressive competition results so far include first place at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, first place in the Swedish Slopestyle Tour and second in the New Zealand Freeski Open. Tjäder has also stacked up a bunch of awards - he picked up the IF3 Rookie of the Year in 2011, and both the 2011 Best Rail Skier of the Year and 2012 Park Shredder of the Year awards from the Transition Winter Awards. And when he's not snagging podium places, he's still keeping the crowds entertained with his awesome bag of tricks. When he stomped a huge double backflip at the 2015 Jon Olsson Invitational, it was more than enough to secure him a well-earned People's Choice award. Make sure you follow us on our socials!
