Who Got The Most Snow In The Canada Ski Resorts?

Michael Fulton (SnowStash)
The other day we wrote about which USA ski resorts got the most snowfall over the 2021 season and the response online was rather positive, so we figured we had to do the same for the ski resorts which are spread across the great white north. The Canadian ski resorts have had a somewhat tumultuous season whilst they juggle the ongoing global pandemic and lack of international tourist, much of which is the main cash cow for many ski resorts. We did see the season abruptly shut down for many British Columbia ski resorts with Whistler, Big White and Revelstoke shut down immediately right before the Easter long weekend, however this did not stop the snow from falling and some of resorts saw an incredible amount of snowfall. The below numbers are collected from the ski resort websites on the day of writing this piece and is likely the last reported number before many of the resorts closed for the season. Some of the resorts listed below are still opening and have incredible spring riding available to those lucky few who are able to visit.Which resort do you think got the most? We assumed we knew the answer and we were way off! #10 - Kicking Horse Mountain ResortTotal Snowfall: 8.23m / 27ft / 324”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 11 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (@kickinghorsemtn) #9 - Manning ParkTotal Snowfall: 8.24m / 27.04ft / 324”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 5 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Manning Park Resort (@manningpark) #8 - Mount CainTotal Snowfall: 9m / 29.5ft / 354”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 11 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mount Cain Alpine Park (@mountcain) #7 - Grouse MountainTotal Snowfall: 9.15m / 30ft / 360” Resort Status: OpenClosing Date: 2 May 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Grouse Mountain (@grousemountain) #6 - Banff SunshineTotal Snowfall: 9.22m / 30.22ft / 363”Resort Status: OpenClosing Date: 24 May 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Banff Sunshine Village (@sunshinevillage) #5 - Mt SeymourTotal Snowfall: 9.63m / 31.60ft / 379”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 11 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mt Seymour (@mtseymour) #4 - Mount WashingtonTotal Snowfall: 10m / 32.81ft / 379”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 6 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mount Washington Alpine Resort (@mountwashington) #3 - Revelstoke Mountain ResortTotal Snowfall: 10.20m / 33.47ft / 402”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 30 March 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Revelstoke Mountain Resort (@revelstokemtnresort) #2 - Cypress Mountain ResortTotal Snowfall: 11.23m / 36.85ft / 442”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 12 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cypress Mountain Resort (@cypressmtn) #1 - Sasquatch Mountain ResortTotal Snowfall: 13.59m / 44.59ft / 535”Resort Status: ClosedClosing Date: 6 April 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by SasquatchMountainResort (@sasquatchmountainresort) Make sure you follow us on our socials!
