A handful of ski resorts in the west have already opened their doors and started to spin the chairlifts after a powerful October storm system rolled across the country.Check out our list of opening dates which are proposed for the ski resorts found across Maine. As always opening days are weather dependent and a large amount of natural snowfall or the right temps required for snowmaking need to line up perfectly.
