Sommet Saint-Sauveur, a smaller ski resort in Quebec, consistently rivals Killington Resort in the Northeast with its late-season skiing. It often extends into late May, as it did last year, and even June, as it did in 2019. After opening in November, Sommet Saint-Sauveur has announced that the upcoming weekend will be the last for skiing this winter. The trails available last weekend, namely Cote 70 Ouest and Nordique, are likely to reopen, along with the L’Etoile Atomic lift that services them. On Friday, the lift will operate from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Saturday, it will run from 9 am to 10 pm. Saturday night will feature the annual May Madness event, offering night skiing from 4 pm to 10 pm.
