The Flying Squirrel chairlift, a Doppelmayr 4-pack, now transports skiers from the Warm Springs base to mid-mountain, providing access to slopes of all difficulty levels and the River Run base area. Advanced skiers can conveniently reach Warm Springs via the newly extended Lower Flying Squirrel trail. Weather and conditions permitting, these new lifts and terrain are scheduled to open in mid-December.In anticipation of the upcoming winter season, Sun Valley Resort's annual Pray for Snow Party returns to River Run Lodge on November 11, featuring vintage costumes, a dance party, a raffle, and a food drive benefiting the Hunger Coalition.
