Alyeska Resort Joins Ikon Pass For 23/24 Season

Alterra Mountain Company has announced that Alyeska Resort in Alaska will be the latest addition to its Ikon Pass for the upcoming season. Alyeska, situated in Girdwood, boasts 1,610 acres of private land and features four quad chairlifts and a 60 passenger aerial tram. With the inclusion of Alyeska and Snow Valley in California, the Ikon Pass now offers access to 56 destinations, most of which are partnered with Alterra rather than being owned outright. Pomeroy Lodging, a Canadian hotel operator with no other ski resorts in its portfolio, continues to own and operate Alyeska Resort.

"We are excited to expand our offerings into Alaska and welcome the Ikon Pass community to experience Alyeska Resort," said Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer at Alterra Mountain Company. "Alyeska Resort is an iconic destination with legendary terrain, breathtaking views, a scenic tram, and a thrilling atmosphere."

Full Ikon Pass holders will have unrestricted access to ski for 7 days at Alyeska, while Ikon Base pass holders can use up to 5 days subject to blackout dates. The first price increase for next season's Ikon Pass will be introduced on April 21st, a month earlier than last year.
