    Sustainable Ski Travel: London to French Alps by Train Returning In December The Eurostar Snow train is set to return on December 21st, offering skiers and riders a green route from London to the French Alps. Tickets are now on sale for this service, which runs until March 1st, plus the number of services have increased from 8 trains last season, to 11 for next winter.Journey DetailsThe train connects London to the French Alps via Lille. After departing from London St Pancras, travellers switch trains in Lille for the final leg to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Stops include Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-Les-Bains, and Aime-la-Plagne.Outbound journeys run every Saturday, taking just under eight hours. Return trips depart on Sundays, lasting nine hours.

Each ticket includes an allowance for two large bags, one handbag, and one pair of skis or a snowboard.
