Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe Marks 60th Season with Significant Resort Enhancements Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary season in style, investing $2.2 million in major capital improvements to enhance the guest experience. These upgrades, ranging from a complete dining area renovation to snowmaking system enhancements, demonstrate the resort's ongoing commitment to providing top-notch facilities and services for skiers and riders.Mike Pierce, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe marketing and sales director, highlighted the significance of the upcoming season: "This season will mark two milestone anniversaries at Mt. Rose – the resort's 60th, and the 20th anniversary of The Chutes. We'll not only celebrate these events all season long with our guests, but are upgrading our facilities and equipment so that we can continue to offer an exceptional experience and high level of service."

Credit: SnowStash The Mountain View dining area, located on the upper level of the resort's Main Lodge, has undergone a complete refresh. Visitors will enjoy new furniture, improved guest experience, and better traffic flow. The popular Timbers Taco stand will find a permanent home in this area, transforming into the Timbers Taco Bar. This new addition will offer street tacos, nachos, and other traditional Mexican food favourites.Beyond the Mountain View area, the resort has made further enhancements to the recently revamped Lodgepole Cafe and improved flooring in the cafeteria, ensuring a more comfortable and efficient dining experience for guests.On the mountain, the Around the World trail, a favourite among advanced beginners and low intermediate skiers and riders, has been widened in the zone approaching the Lariat Junction. This improvement offers guests more room to spread out and enhances the overall skiing and riding experience.Mt. Rose continues to invest in its snowmaking capabilities. The latest upgrades will allow for increased production when temperatures drop in October, with the ability to maximise output whenever weather and conditions permit. These enhancements promise high-quality snow conditions and increased coverage early in the season.A state-of-the-art snowcat joins the Mt. Rose fleet this season. This addition will help maintain trails with precision grooming throughout the season, ensuring top-quality snow surfaces for skiers and riders.

Rose will expand its popular "Open Late" schedule to include both Friday and Saturday nights. Select lifts will remain open until 6 p.m. on these days, allowing guests to make the most of longer days and enjoy more time on the slopes.The resort is bringing back several fan-favourite programs. Friday Night Gates will return with an expanded field of teams. Additionally, "Bonus Mondays" will once again be part of the Daily Special Options, offering heavily discounted Monday lift tickets for anyone who skis at Rose the previous Saturday or Sunday (excluding holidays).These substantial investments and improvements underscore Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe's dedication to providing an outstanding experience for all skiers and riders.
