Major Lift Expansion Transforms Tod Mountain's Upper Terrain The new West Bowl Express at Sun Peaks Resort represents a major leap forward in mountain access, replacing the traditional T-bar with a state-of-the-art high-speed quad chairlift. This three-year project dramatically expands the skiable terrain in the area from 54 to 169 acres, marking a significant milestone in the resort's development.The $12 million investment by Sun Peaks Resort LLP brings Doppelmayr's latest lift technology to Tod Mountain. Extending 800 metres beyond the previous T-bar's reach, the new lift achieves a summit elevation of 2,093 metres, establishing itself as Sun Peaks' highest chairlift.
