Stowe Mountain Resort Ends Season After Record Snowfall
Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont is set to close on April 27, 2025, following a remarkable ski season. The 2024-25 winter brought over 300 inches of snow to the resort, creating some of the best skiing conditions in years. January and February were particularly notable, setting the stage for an outstanding season that continued strong into spring, despite variable conditions elsewhere in the Northeast.

Mike Giorgio, Vice President and General Manager of Stowe Mountain Resort, expressed his appreciation for the exceptional season. The resort will continue operations on the FourRunner Quad lift until closing day, with all services centralised at the Mansfield Base Lodge. Free parking will be available through April 27, and guests are advised to use the Mansfield Base Area.
Stowe's location on Vermont's highest peak has long been associated with top-quality skiing conditions in the Northeast. This season surpassed expectations, delivering consistent coverage and deep-snow days that skiers and riders dream about.

Looking ahead, Stowe Mountain Resort is already preparing for the 2025-26 season. Epic Passes are now on sale at their lowest prices, with options including the Northeast Value Pass, Epic Local Pass, and customisable Epic Day Pass. These passes offer access to Stowe and other resorts in the region and beyond.
Stowe Mountain Resort has cemented its reputation as a premier ski destination in the Northeast with this record-breaking season. Its consistent snowfall, excellent facilities, and prime location on Vermont's highest peak make it a top choice for skiers and riders seeking quality winter sports experiences. As the resort closes its lifts for the season, it leaves behind a winter filled with memorable powder days and exceptional skiing conditions that will be talked about for years to come.
