HTI's President Anton Seeber emphasised the company's ability to adapt to changing global conditions. The group's focus on innovation, sustainability, and internationalisation has driven its continued growth. In 2024, HTI expanded its operations with new production facilities in the USA and Canada, and a logistics centre in Italy. The company also completed several notable projects, including nine new cable car systems in Italy and the installation of the 'Jandri' tricable gondola in Les Deux-Alpes, France.
In the energy sector, HTI's subsidiary Leitwind constructed its first wind farm in Sicily, while Troyer, the group's hydropower company, celebrated its 90th anniversary. These developments showcase HTI's commitment to diversifying its product range and expanding into sustainable energy solutions.
Looking ahead to 2025, HTI plans to focus on urban cable car systems, a sector experiencing significant growth. Key projects include new installations in Mexico City, El Salvador, and Santo Domingo. The company is also optimistic about potentially constructing Italy's first urban gondola lift in Trieste. In the winter sports sector, HTI continues to innovate with new snow-making technologies and grooming vehicles.
HTI's winter technologies division remains a core part of the business. The company introduced the Evo 4.0 snow gun, which offers higher production with lower energy consumption, and unveiled new transport cabins for its Leitwolf and Bison snow groomer models. These advancements demonstrate HTI's ongoing commitment to improving efficiency and sustainability in ski resort operations.
