SilverStar Mountain Joins the Ikon Pass — Spring Pricing Ends April 16
If you've been sitting on the fence about buying your 2026-27 Ikon Pass, here's your nudge. SilverStar Mountain in British Columbia has just been added to the Ikon Pass lineup, and spring pricing is available until April 16. After that, prices go up.
What is SilverStar Mountain?
SilverStar is one of British Columbia's larger ski resorts, sitting in the Okanagan Valley. It's not one of those resorts that gets talked about constantly, but it's a solid mountain with real credentials — 3,304 acres of terrain, 133 runs, and 2,460 feet (760 metres) of vertical drop. The mountain runs on 100% natural snowfall, has a ski-in, ski-out village, and a layout that works well for both progression and laps.
The terrain mix is decent. You've got well-groomed frontside runs that are good for building confidence and knocking out high-mileage days, then the backside steps things up with steeper chutes and double-black runs when you're ready for it. For context, the total skiable area is significantly larger than anything you'll find at Australian resorts like Falls Creek or Thredbo, so there's genuine room to explore across multiple days.

What Ikon Pass Access Do You Get at SilverStar?
For 2026-27, the access breakdown at SilverStar is:
- Ikon Pass — 7 days, no blackout dates
- Ikon Base Pass — 5 days, with select blackout dates
- Ikon Session Pass — also included
SilverStar joins a solid Canadian roster on the Ikon Pass that already includes Revelstoke, SkiBig3, Cypress Mountain, RED Mountain, Panorama, and Sun Peaks Resort. That's a reasonable chunk of BC and Alberta covered under one pass.
What Does the 2026-27 Ikon Pass Cost?
Spring pricing is still in effect, but it closes on April 16. Current pricing in USD:
- Ikon Pass — from $1,349 USD ($1,819 CAD)
- Ikon Base Pass — from $924 USD ($1,249 CAD)
- Ikon Session Pass — from $299 USD ($399 CAD)
New pass holders who buy now can also access free immediate spring skiing at up to 13 mountains, which is a reasonable sweetener if you're planning any late-season trips.

How Big is the Ikon Pass Network for 2026-27?
The 2026-27 Ikon Pass covers 77 destinations across 13 countries and 5 continents, with a total of 290,085 acres, 8,645 trails, and 2,117 lifts. It's a big network, and for Australian skiers planning trips to North America, Europe, or Japan, it covers a lot of ground under one purchase.
